Changing an Israeli high school student’s perception of the conflict and the peace process may start in the classroom, a new study says. Lessons that presented the Palestinians in a positive light increased students’ trust in them, the study found, while teaching that presented Palestinians more negatively led to a decrease in trust and a preference for solving the conflict through military force.
