Both the African Union and South Sudan have opened nominations for commissioners in the proposed Commission for Truth, Reconciliation, and Healing.

The African Union is inviting applications for three international commissioners from across Africa, while the Transitional Government is seeking nominations for four national commissioners.

The Commission will be established under the 2024 Act adopted pursuant to the Revitalized Peace Agreement.
