The Holodomor was an act of genocide against the Ukrainian people, organized by Soviet russia in 1932-1933 through the creation of an artificial mass famine. This genocide claimed millions of Ukrainian lives, though no one knows the exact number of victims. It remains one of the darkest and most horrific crimes against Ukraine.

The artificial famine was not the first tool russians used to commit genocide in Ukraine. Russia has been systematically committing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Ukraine for centuries. Leadership has changed, but the mindset has remained the same.

Back then, there was no NATO to “provoke russia,” no nuclear weapons, no EU – yet russia was already killing Ukrainians.

Today, russia continues its efforts to eliminate Ukrainians. And much of the world is just watching now, just as it did then.
