Baba Sheikh, Repairer Leadership Award

For preserving the legacy of the late Baba Sheikh’s courage to heed his ruptured community’s pain and amend religious edicts to heal and sustain his people’s survival.

The award was introduced by Jane, a Yezidi woman and 2014 genocide victim/survivor, and Dalia, a community member.

ICMGLT is honored to recognize Baba Sheikh and the enduring legacy of courage, healing, and leadership represented by this award.
