This is the recording of the virtual release of Generations United’s new toolkit “Latino Grandfamilies: Helping Children Thrive Through Connection to Family and Cultural Identity” held on Thursday, November 18, 2021. The toolkit is designed to provide resources and tips to child welfare agencies, other government agencies, and nonprofit organizations, so they can better serve all Latino grandfamilies regardless of child welfare involvement. The event featured speakers who not only provided an overview of the toolkit but also shared the unique strengths and challenges of Latino grandfamilies and tips and techniques for supporting them.
