Following the viewing of the documentary “The Girl From Salonika,” the son (David) and grandson (Carlos) of the girl from Salonika will reflect on having lived with …. Holocaust’s legacies and producer/director of the film will reflect on making the film with them.

Alison Jayne Wilson
Alison Jayne Wilson is an award-winning filmmaker known for her unflinching human rights documentaries. EXIT & The Girl From Salonika have garnered international recognition, with EXIT premiering at the San Diego International Film Festival & The Girl From Salonika supported by a CLAIMS grant. A sought-after speaker, having presented at the Cambridge Symposium on Human Trafficking, NCOSE, and more. She is currently developing two documentaries on POWs & victims from the MENA region.
David Samouil Mordoh Behar
David was born in Athens, Greece, and grew up in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, before moving with his family to Lloret de Mar, Spain, in the 1960s. He studied journalism and pursued a career in music journalism and the family business. Now retired, he dedicates his time to music, travel, and maintaining his music blog. Both of his parents were Greek Holocaust survivors.
Carlos Mordoh Monforte
Carlos, the grandson of Mazaltov “Fofo” Mordoh, is a Psychology graduate with extensive experience in the social sector. He currently works with Amical de Mauthausen y otros campos, a Spanish foundation committed to preserving and disseminating the history of Spanish Republicans deported to Nazi concentration camps.

A Clinical psychologist, traumatologist, victimologist and psychohistorian, Dr. Danieli is Founder, Executive Director and Senior Representative to the United Nations of the International Center for MultiGenerational Legacies of Trauma (ICMGLT); Director, Group Project for Holocaust Survivors and their Children and Past-President, International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.
