SEE IT: Oklahoma delivery man blocked by homeowner group president at gated community thinks race was a factor

A black delivery driver who was blocked from leaving a gated community in Oklahoma by multiple white men who demanded to know why he was there said he believes the incident was racially motivated.

While the video, which has over 160,000 views is about 37 minutes long, the incident may have lasted even longer.

What Is This?

“I’m trying to leave and I got ‘super neighbor’ over here blocking me in,” Miller says.

Miller says in the video the car blocked him in while he was trying to make a u-turn.

“If I go around him, I’m going to have to drive on somebody’s property and I don’t want to make a bad situation worse,” Miller says.

Stewart is joined by another man, who was not identified. The two press Miller for information about how he got into the gated community.

“I don’t have to tell you s—!” Miller says.

“All we want to know is why you’re in here and who gave you the gate code,” the second man says. “That’s all we need to know.”

Later in the video Stewart calls police to retract a report he filed against Miller after speaking with the delivery man’s customer.

Miller is also seen crying while waiting to speak with police himself to find out if he’s cleared to leave the area.

“He said that he called the cops back and let them know that everything was clear but I didn’t want to leave and have it seem like I was fleeing the scene or anything like that,” Miller tells the police dispatcher.

Miller told NBC affiliate KFOR he was hesitant to give the customer’s private information and it incident would not have happened if he was also white.

“I don’t know what prompted him to, or what has happened in that neighborhood, for him to respond the way he did,” Miller said.

“I just did the best I could to not make a bad situation worse.”
