I’m not ashamed to admit that I didn’t know the British-German Jewish cellist Anita Lasker-Wallfisch, 98, may be remembered less for her music than for her words. That is not to detract from an admiration of her skill as a musician. She had an outstanding professional career, and was an important member of the English Chamber Orchestra.
