Congratulations to Prof. Fernanda Frizzo Bragato, ICMGLT Advisory Council Member who has launched launched the handbook The Legal Content of Human Rights: Civil and Political Rights in International Instruments, the first in Brazil to thoroughly compile the primary international human rights standards from the global and inter-American systems. 35 Law researchers author the 27 chapters that offer an overview of how the international organizations interpret the binding State obligations related to civil and political rights provided for in international law. The handbook aims to help legal professionals amplify the judicial and extrajudicial use of human rights in Brazil, filling a gap in the legal literature available in the country.
